Container Drayage and 53' Dry Van Freight - Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach

Two things, done properly. We pull containers off the docks at LA and Long Beach, and we run 53-foot dry van truckload out of Southern California. That is the whole list.

What we actually do

Drayage is short-haul container work: off the terminal at the Port of Los Angeles or the Port of Long Beach, and out to a warehouse, a rail ramp, a transload facility, or the Inland Empire. It is a game of appointments, chassis, and gate turns, and it is won or lost on whether somebody is paying attention on the day.

Dry van - drybox - is 53-foot truckload. Palletized, no-touch freight moving regional and interstate out of Southern California. Same operating discipline, longer legs.

We do not haul reefer. We do not haul flatbed. We do not tell you we can do something and then go looking for someone who can. If a load is not drayage or a dry van, we will say so.

Why this carrier exists

LFS Transport Management runs under Logistical Forwarding Solutions, a logistics company that has spent twenty years on one idea: the small trucking company has to stay alive. Not the broker, not the shipper, not the platform - the truck.

That shows up in ordinary ways. Drivers are paid on time. Equipment is bought new rather than nursed until it fails a roadside. Compliance is handled before it becomes a violation. A carrier that is solvent and legal is a carrier that shows up for your container on the day it is due, and that is the entire argument.
