Equipment Owners

You own the truck and hold the title. We run the operation, and we tell you the truth about it.

The arrangement

Some of the equipment in this fleet belongs to individuals rather than to the company. They buy a new tractor or trailer, hold the title in their own name, and place the unit under our management. We handle the driver, the freight, the dispatch, the compliance and the paperwork, and we charge a management fee on gross.

This is ownership plus management, and the distinction matters. It is not an investment product, it is not a fund, and you are not buying a share of anything. You are buying a truck, in your name, and hiring an experienced operator to run it for you.

We do not promise or guarantee income, and you should be wary of anyone in this industry who does. A truck is a business, and businesses have difficult quarters. What we can give you is a clear picture of how the operation runs, what it costs, and what we do when a week goes badly — and you will have all of that before you spend a dollar rather than after.

Before anything else, a conversation

Every owner starts with a call with Michael Thomas, who heads this program. The purpose of that call is to work out whether this is the right thing for you at all — including the possibility that it is not.

Nothing about equipment, financing or timelines gets decided in an email.

Start with a conversation rather than a brochure. Nothing about equipment or money gets decided over email.
